Please Help Me!

I've been wanting to play this game for months, and finally I just finished installing Arma II: Operation Arrowhead. Well... I get this error

bin\config.bin/cfgingameui/mptable.shadow

Well now I cant play it, and I cant find a fix to the solution... If someone could please help me, that would be nice :)

It upsets me that I cant play DayZ right now though :(

Edit, read the thread through first, don't just go with the first post.

Basically, try running Steam as admin first, if you're still having issues follow the other steps.

Hey good news... ^^

Well instead of re-installing the game, I decided to Validate the files instead, so it fixed the files of Arma II: Operation Arrowhead

Now I can install DayZ commander :)

Nice one. That should be the end of your problems, although they tend to come along in three's.

Bad news, Downloaded DayZ commander, and there are no servers :|

I have loads of servers showing on Commander so i think you just need to tell Commander where your DayZ install is. Smash will be along in a sec. He's much more familiar with commander and Steam, I use neither.

until he gets here I'll try though. So, open dayZ commander, click settings (top right). You want to make sure commander knows where your game is so in "game directories" enter the path to your game folders. Something like "C:Programmame Files/bohemia ect". Is there anything in those boxes now?
