Where is brutal military loot?

When I die and start to play i have one problem: i can't find any automatic rifle. I know, there is military camp in Stary Sobor, but I am near Elektrozavodsk!

Hey, people, couldn't you say me, where are military bases with good loot? I tried NW airbase, clear.

Deer stands, or Stary Sobor. If you tried the NW airbase then Stary Sobor is closer.

Am not sure that military loot are best in this game.

Weapon like Winchester/Lee-Enfield/CZ550 - easy to find and they always kill from one shot.Plus ammo is everywhere,even in small villages.

Also revolver as sidearm always wins too,1 shot = 1 kill,even for player.

Well military ones... They good,but you always need more ammo.Exceptionally for extra-rare guns.

No, i can find much ammo, but i simply need to know: where can I get rare guns (for ex. AK-74, M4).

Try looking in these buldings - http://picacid.com/arma2/imgs/Land_a_stationhouse.jpg - in both Cherno and Electro.

Theres 2 in Electro and 1 (I think) in Cherno. In both I have found AKs, Ms and Remingtons with ammo as well.

The assault rifles are great and all, but the ammo is a real let down. It's difficult to find and you run out of it surprisingly quickly. Since they're all intermediate calibers (5.56, 5.45 and 7.62x39), they generally don't kill a zombie with one round, so you often have to use 2 or 3 as opposed to the one required by the Lee-Enfield or Winchester.

Personally I think the Winchester 1866 is the most versatile and useful weapon in game. It's quiet, has a large mag capacity, and can take slug or pellet rounds. Load slugs for hitting far away and load pellets if they get close.

Plus the military weapons spawn in places that get camped by bandit dickheads so you have to clear them out to get access to any of it.

All in all it's just not worth the trouble.

Oooookaaaay! I found MP5, AK, Ms in Stary Sobor (mil. camp). MP5SD, Glock 17 and M4 CCO in NW airbase!

Yeah you could go to the military bases if you want to find it, but the best place in my opinion is in the large building near the docks in cherno. It has a secret entry accessible from the roof, there is a laddder on the west wall. Also there is some less interesting loot in the entrance on the south side, but it's not uncommon to find silenced m4a1 rifles if you enter through the rooftop door.
