Is there a way to tell what FPS you're getting? If so please tell.

I was on a server once that showed the fps and it said about 30-15 fps, but i only have a AMD Phenom II 955 x4 3.2 Quad core with 8gb ram, and a Radeon 6950 Graphics card.

DayZ is Unique. This game will eat performace cards for breakfast.

1st thing. DayZ does not really take a toll on your cards the hight the resolution is.

1920x1080 is best.

anisotropic filtering doesnt seem to bother it much either.

Your big FPS killers are

anti aliasing

HDR Quality

Postprocess effects

3d Resolution

You need to adjust these settings to find what you like. Best preformace vs video quality.
