Keep spawning with almost no gear at all.

I have killed myself over and over trying to fix this, I keep spawning with no pistol or ammo or anything else except for some bandages. I am not in the debug zones. Does anyone have any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

Op - 1, patch notes, read them. 2, If something is different after installing a patch it didn't occur to you that maybe, just maybe, the patch you just installed might of had have something to do wih it?

Please do not address me like I am an idiot, I read the patch notes but I did not expect to spawn with nothing EVERY time. Also FYI I started playing last night so I am new so no need to be a jerk

Screw off, show me where it said everytime? Oh wait it didn't. I was expecting to spawn with that only on the more hardcore servers not on regular, I can't do almost anything now because of this patch since all the hardened players just hunt you down.

Use the internet map ( http://dayzmap.info/ ), it shows you where there is loot. When you spawn you will see in the right lower corner of the screen where you are. Look at it, look at the map, go away from the coast and into the smaller towns in the countryside, and try to sneak your way past zombies.

Ive never died in this new version so Im doing ok with my gear in the wilderness. But now I see how cities have probabily become killing grounds for new characters, since not having a weapon and gear means you need to find places with good stuff, and cities are way better for that. Nonetheless more ruthless players will use that to kill as many people as they can, specially since noobs dont have weapons now.

Nonetheless, I would stay away from the coast even if you have good gear. Too many people and too many bandits. You need as much information in this game as you need items, so you will probabily die a lot until you learn how to play, how to protect yourself, where, how and when to get items and also how to kill, avoid or hunt other players. The best way to do that is by using the internet map, without that you cant make up decisions and you have a very low survival chance. Remember, the true danger are the players, not the zombies (even through they have become way harder now).
