Problem's With Server's

I've only recently downloaded DayZ on my new hp gaming laptop with a quad core processor,8 G ram, and 750GB hard drive. But it seem's that when i go and try to join any server it either says waiting for host, or that i dont have content. I used DayZcommander to download DayZ and updated, Arma2,DayZ,and all additional mods that was under the install section. I'm using Arma2 Free and a digital copy of Arma2 Operation Arrowhead. Also i keep getting this message saying that before i start killing zombies it says that it notices i dont have combined operations and asks if i want to go buy it before going on DayZ. If anyone can help me fix these problem's or tell me what exactly is wrong it would be a big help cause i cannot play on any server's do to these problem's.
