In the market for a new computer.

Recommended Posts

I currently have a Toshiba with 2.1 GHz, 4GB memory, and a Intel HD Graphics Family, which is the reason why I'm getting a new computer with the standalone and all.

I found a nice one just under 1000 dollars, and I was wondering if it could handle DayZ well.

i7 3770 (3.4 GHz)

16GB DDR3

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 640 2GB

You'd have to bump the GPU up a notch if you wanted decent framerates- I'd go at the very least a 660 (Preferably an AMD 7850 though).

The processor would eat Arma II up with no problem though.

Do you think an i5 will do nice with Arma II? There's a 660 with only 8 gigs of memory, but for graphic's sake I'll buy it.
