New to DayZ,need help installing

So,i heard through a friend about DayZ and loved it,and now,with steam sales i bought ArmA 2:OA.He told me to use Play withSIX,

I have the following things:

ArmA 2 Full Game(fresh installed,no patch or anything,i bought it from a shop on the day it was released)

ArmA 2:OA from Steam(steam sales)

Play withSIX(because my friend told me it's much easier to use,sadly he had to leave and so tomorrow i will be able to play with him)

DayZ was installed through Play withSIX

I keep getting kicked from every server without a warning,whenever i start the game it tells me like ArmA:OA needs addon CA_signs2(it's a aproximate name as i uninstalled everything while im posting on the forum),or random stuff like unable to load texture or a simple file.I would really love if somebody would help me step by step because this mod is really confusing to install,that or all of the sudden i'm stupid.Help?

I got it with a sale too! It is super cheap :D And I have gotten MORE than my money's worth from this game, easily.

First of all, you can use Play with Six, and no offense to your friend, but DayZCommander is much better, especially if you are just starting out. It makes the file downloads and updates so much easier. Get it. You will get the same advice from the majority of the DayZ Community about this.

Next, from your description it seems like the file system is corrupted. I would start with a completely new install. First, Install Arma II and Combined OA. Then install the Beta, DayZ, and all of the maps that you need. I am not sure about Play With Six but on DayZCommander this is done by simply clicking on Install/Update at the top and then clicking onthe necessary map/Beta/Arma version you need.

If you start fresh from the beginning then you should be okay. The file system is a bit different from Steam to non-Steam, FYI.

BTW, it is not just you, it is a confusing MOD to set up the first time if you are not used to MOD'ing a lot of games. I wasn't myself, this was my first.
