magicbush 0 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) I am currently looking for a new private hive server as I heard bad things about the public servers(hackors galore). I tried to find info, but I don't see anything that shows this. What do the tags regular, 3dp, ch, veteran, mean exactly? Thanks for any clarification! Fern Baron 128 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) Regular and veteran are the difficulty of the server. Regular will have crosshairs and vet will not, zombies also detect you easier.3dp is third person, servers with this deactivated are restricted to first person.Hope this helps.Balota Buddies has a couple of nice private hive servers that are also whitelisted and closely monitored by their admins. UK/US/AUS serverswww.balotabuddies.net Edited December 26, 2012 by Fern Baron
-Guardian- 206 Posted December 26, 2012 Also If i were you id ONLY stick to whitelisted ones. Just because its private hive doesnt mean its hacker free. Script kiddies follow high population.

I will look around for a white-list server with a good population then, thanks guys!
maxnmike 134 Posted December 26, 2012 Regular, veteran and expert are the difficulty settings of the server. 3dp means the server allows you to go into third person view, ch means weapons crosshair is turned on. You also have tracers, nameplates and death messages. Expert servers generally will not have any of the settings turned on unless it is third person, regular servers usually have everything but traces turned on and veteran servers have a mix depending on the server.
