Low-rez textures and install path issue

Recommended Posts

Hiya,

I have PMC installed and enabled as an expansion through ArmA 2 OA yet my textures in game are low-res. One thing I note is that I have ArmA 2/OA installed in two places on my computer... once through my Steam copy and once via my retail copy. DayZ Commander is pointed at the retail copies... but PMC is installed through Steam (as I can't find my Reinforcements disc).

To further compound things, when I tried to point DayZ Commander at my Steam folder (figuring I'd just reinstall everything for DayZ into there) it said it couldn't find the game.

Is there something I can do to either transfer my DayZ mod folder across to the Steam drive, or some way I can get DayZ to recognise that I have PMC?

Thanks in advance :)

You need to run it at least once by itself, as I understand it you also need British Armed Forces expansion also.

Thanks jaymacca, I did that (figuring there might be registry issues) and I definitely have the full Reinforcements installed (BAF and PMC), still no joy!

I think it's something to do with drive installs...
