things vipe does on puddn's stream

i was talking to a friend about a stream he watches where often one of the devs, "vipe or vype" (i don't know the spelling)

he says that he does things like port to puddn to save walking and that he can honk a horn just out of no where, and change his skins on command, i think it's cheating and shouldn't be allowed, my friend thinks he's entitled to it because he's a dev, any thoughts?

This is true, but you haven't mentioned anything about spawning guns? Or any means of killing other players. It's fine for a dev to pleasure themselves, as long as that pleasuring doesn't lead to the death of any other players

Personally, I don't have a problem with it. I'm not actually aware of his/her involvement in the development of DayZ but I'm sure it's consumed a reasonable amount of their time and them having being able to port between locations seems only just. After all, they made the damn game (assuming)

Assuming this is true, a dev NEEDS to be able to teleport around, and should reasonably be able to spawn items, kill zombies by typing a command, be indestructible, and any number of other such magic powers. It's the only way to do testing and debugging.
