No sound

Updated dayz files and arma 2 to newest beta, game is working but there is no sound at all.

You were most likely on a 1.70 server. Even though you where running 1.7.1 /Beta. I did that earlier.

No i have the version 1.7.1 and i have no sound on all 1.7.1 server :-(

Server's lie. Keep trying and you'll find one that works, trust me :) I've been in the same situation all day.

I had this when i first installed ARMA , its a common enough ARMA problem it seems.

Try setting your sound settings to front speakers only, drop the 5.1 option :) only thing that gets sound for me in anything invovled with the ARMA series.

i havent this sound settings where i can change something like that. i have windows 7 home.
