thelonewarrior 886 Posted December 22, 2012 (edited) Today I was betrayed, but what happend is impossible to my eyes without some form of hack.I was in the bunker on namalsk when I hear a macrov shooting and someone unconcious getting beaten up. I tell him to drop his gun and come down and he does so, I get ready to transfuse him but zombies come down.Now......He has no weapon in his hand, so I know he has neiether a pistol or a hachet. I check his pack and it has a few items but no guns.Zombies are pouring down the ladder and I tell him to go into the corner behind me, there are no guns laying around so I turn and shoot the zombies while I keep checking on him to make sure hes not drawing a hachet on me.He was in a corner with no items around except a few bits of junk I hadnt looted.There were no guns around and none in my packAs I go to reload, I turn my head to see him pulling out a macrov!Now how the hell did he have a macrov when hes standing there arms at his side with no gun.Seeing as the game wont let you unequip a pistol when you have no other weapon, the only thing I can think of is that he hacked it in, but then it begs the question. Why hack in a macrov just to kill me for my gear? When he could hack any other gear in?Is there some super secret way to hide a pistol but not in your pack? Or can you un-equip the pistol while holding the flashlight, then put the flashlight back on your tool belt and then re-equip the pistol, via the mouse scroll?I'm just wondering because, why the hell would anyone hack in a Makarov? And since you said you checked his bag then it wasn't in there.No idea how he got it. Dortmunder (DayZ) 19 Posted December 22, 2012 Well, the flashlight takes up the pistol slot when equipped, so both can't be on at the same time.That may have been changed in some mod or patch, but the last time I tried it didn't work.
