Is it SO hard to name your server correctly?

So many servers have bogus info in the host name, it makes finding a suitable server a royal PITA.

Just tried joining 4 servers, all had 1.7.1 / Beta 93825 in the host name, but were either running 1.7.0 or an older Beta.

Come on people, get with the program and come on in for the big win - please keep your server name up to date!

Didn't have a problem with this a few hours ago, took a break and now I'm finding it impossible to find a damned server that's actually running the versions it's advertising itself as having.

If they were just lazy and forgot to update the server name after updating, it'd be one thing, but instead there's a whole load of pricks updating their server names with false information. Come the glorious revolution, they will be rounded up and shot.

awesome. i bought the game 2 days ago. now after finally equiping myself i log onto a server that says 1.7.1 but runs on 1.7.0 (all multiplay de servers btw, just to call someone out) and as a result of it i landed on the empty island of doom as soon as i found a legit 1.7.1 server which lead to me losing everything and as of patch 1.7.1 starting without anything.
