Ok I know the MODis currently out, the stand alone, will this allow you to play on a private server and a public server? I ask because I am thinking about getting the MOD so I can learn to play before the SA comes out, I would rather go through my growing pains now then when SA comes out, but if a Private server is allowed I was thinking I can do it there as well. Thanks for any info.

But will they make private servers, I imagine you wont be able to jump from one server to the other with all your gear.

This actually means that every server will be "private", no "public" servers. Each one with its own SQL database (written in the FAQ)
