Give us textures from PMC for free :angel: I think that would be really nice bonus for the community, as people who are not interested in playing PMC0 won't buy it just for model textures (even though they're annoying as they are).

Rocket, have you ever talked with BiS studio about adding model textures from PMC?

I would see that as "yeah, community, you are awesome, we appreciate your love to ArmA, take those textures as a gift" ;) BiS is always a bit opposite to other studios policy (ie they actively support modding, talk with community etc.), so I really think this might happen.

what bricks says, also i wouldn't be asking at all,after all, you get low-res textures for free, so you can still use the models. It is a fanservice and a smart move by bi, so their community doesnt get split up by dlc ownership

Paying for high res textures (that should already be included in the game) is pretty ridiculous if you ask me, but this isn't the place to complain about it.

? The models that are being used are from the second or third expansion. People who are playing Dayz with low res textures bought Arma 2 and the stand-alone expansion, Op: Arrowhead.

So, you are be playing with models you didn't pay for... how is that ridiculous?

I'll never play anything dependant on owning PMC or BAF

but I bought PMC and BAF after I got to know ARMA II

BIS have created a game with huge maps drawn to 10km whilst supporting vast numbers of players, even more AI units and all their assorted materiel and still manages to model lip synching, the lunar calendar, starmaps, weather, sunlight and ballistics

so yeah, ARMA is a fantastic achievement and BIS deserve their rewards

@Bricked, we use those models only because ARMA2 and OA models are broken (dont support backpacks well). I feel like I've already supported BiS with buying ArmA2 and OA on realese, ofcourse I'd LOVE to spend few more euros on those models, but paying like 20$ is too much as I am NOT interested in PMC nor in BAF. Just those models for DayZ players for 5$? Sure! Just give me opportunity to buy it -_-
