Flaschenkind (DayZ) 34 Posted December 21, 2012 (edited) Hey guys,I just wanted to show you the advantages of the AH6X "Little Bird", which is available on DayZ Servers for quite a while.I was the pilot of the Mi-17 and you can see how hard it is to keep up with this little bastard, altough the Mi-17 doubles the speed of the little bird.I'm not a professional when it comes down to video processing. Welch (DayZ) 756 Posted December 21, 2012 Sure, the Little Bird can maneuver with tenacious speed, but the MI-17 is a beast when it comes to speed and armor. I've tried taking out an MI with a Huey, we had 2 gunners, and we barely did any damage. The only way we got them is because we hit the pilot.I bet you could ram a Little bird out of the air and you'd not have to worry about it turning on you or whatever. I really love "my" Mi-17, because, as you said, it can take quite a punch and the ability to fire backwards is (so more degrees in every way) is great. Yesterday I had the opportunity to fly a Huey again and I was simply amazed by his maneuverbiliy compared to the Mi-17. A friend of mine hit me with his M249 just once (by accident), while I was flying a little bird. Everything on red instantly. You see in the video, that we hit the Little Bird 3-4 times with the MI-17 and 4 times with DMR from the ground. It was orange on INST and MROTOR and yellow on VROTOR and HULL.
