1.7.1 technical issues (beta patch)

So after playing yesterday for about 12 hours with some friends, I downloaded the new 1.7.1 and beta r76 patch today using Six Updater. I launch the game and, because I'm running Dxtory, I notice on the main menu I'm getting around 5fps! Bare in mind, yesterday I was getting 60+ in the wilds and around 30-40 in cities.

6GB RAM

GTX 560Ti 1GB

I can't imagine its my PC, as it was fine all of yesterday. Now, the frame rate is unplayable to a massive degree. I closed Arma2 and checked what programs I was running, close a bunch down and loaded up again, but this problem persists.

Any help?
