It is easier to press respawn. He must press esc on "character finished loading"(or something like that) and wait until he appears, he will have 1-2 seconds to press respawn button before knock out timer appears and blocks esc menu, even if it is already opened.

Irrelevant now, due to the date--but if you're able to pull your coordinates and have a friend track you down in-game an epi pen will fix this. It's happened to me twice now, and is always a pain in the arse.
