Hey Guys ..

..at first, im on vers 1.7.1 + Beta 93825

the name said the server is on the same vers.

what wrong?

maybe i installed the beta patch wrong ...i only start the install out of the archiv and press ok after finish the install ...no direction or something else

had the same problem with many other problems the new patch just suckes thats all hope they hotfix it soon.

ok, i think i installed the beta patch wrong ... but how i can install it right ...

cause he install the beta patch datas into a separat folder for ARMA II OA but i have arma 2 and AO in one folder ... if i copy the files into the folder and start the beta, he bring me some strange errors and the menu look pretty faild with no text and textures. .. more like a DOS app ;) ... pls... can help someone?

You should check did you actually run the beta version of the game..

Install both ArmA II and CO on Steam

Download DayZ files and install them on your "Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead" folder under "@DayZ"

Download and install ArmAII:CO beta patch from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php. The beta will be installed on your "Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta" folder

Go to the folder mentioned above and copy the arma2oa.exe back to your "Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead" folder. Make sure to rename the arma2oa.exe originally in there so you don't lose the "stable" patch.

Go to the ArmAII: Operation Arrowhead item on Steam and add the following launch options, by right clicking and selecting proprieties: -mod=expansion;expansion\beta;expansion\beta\expansion;@DayZ -skipIntro -noSplash

I dont understand. he said in the frist step, install Combined Operations, but no word about Opration Arrowhead... but after that he said install the Combined Operations Beta Patch in the Operation Arrowhead Folder (?)

Combined Operations are Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead in one

Try using sixupdater for Dayz, i had the bad version error a lot after installing 1.7.1.5 and just went ahead with it, it fixed any error i had previous to using it.
