When i join a server it puts me in another

This is going to sound crazy but sometimes when i try to join the hive server i play on it puts me in another..... and i know it is doing this becuse me and m friend thought we where in the same server and decided to meet in the church in cherno and when we we both there we didn't see each other so basically what is happening is i join the server "hells Hideout and it puts me in "Bud smokers only" and i am sure i am clicking on the server because it is the only server in my favorites. any ideas on how to fix this or why this is happening?
