What do you do with hacked in vehicles?

Recommended Posts

We found a whole cache of hacked in vehicles today just outside of elektro, including 4 helis, 3 of which aren't even dayz helis. We ran out of ammo before we could blow them all up. Barely made a dent in the helicopters. And I can't find anything in the logs about who hacked these in.....server restart doesn't do anything to them.....and we couldn't fix them up to move them outside the map without getting ourselves killed. What do you, as server admins, do when you find a vehicle you know is hacked in? And where do you find them in the logs?

I don't think there's away to do so. Don't forget it's still in Alpha.

Maybe you could try a clean sweep of the server database?

Fly... Eject? <boom!>

lol that was a plan, parachute out, but we had 12 people on the server by that point, and within the hour we had over 30. here was no way we could fix up 4 helis outside of elektro and survive....

There is no way to get rid of them without some sort of debug script of some sort. The sucky part is even if you blow them up and restart, they return on the restart. Devs really need to do something about this as it is CRIPPLING to servers when a hacker spawns hundreds and hundreds of vehicles and buildings. If they spawn them all on top of each other, they all start taking damage off collision and then bogs down your server until it crashes entirely. At 1.4 millsion users, you have to quit copping out to alpha and recognize that this is a big problem for public servers who have little resources for fixing this issue, especially with the frequency that hackers do this crap.
