osiriszoran 33 Posted June 17, 2012 Its funny that a good majority of the people CRYING about the patch is the people who've gotten so used to avoiding Zeds and strictly loot whoring gear from Stary or the airfields that to be killed by zeds now is so beneath them. The mere concept of starting over means the end of their world when they lose all the phat lewts that they spent hours/days collecting and hording on low pop servers or from server jumping hot spots. The patch is fine. YALL JUST NEED TO MAN UP SUCK IT UP AND STOP BEING LITTLE WOMEN.
jdz (DayZ) 238 Posted June 17, 2012 Oh, please tell me again how it's so safe to loot Stary and the barracks again... Low populated servers are dodgy in those areas as well, quite often more dangerous on low populated servers...

Tired of these world of warcraft players who try to cling to their characters.
humbleuk 76 Posted June 17, 2012 It's natural for people to complain. You guys make it sound like it's alien or something.Every update will always upset some and not others, but why post about it, WE KNOW!?
thomas.bowyer@hotmail.co.uk 25 Posted June 17, 2012 you do realise its a bug? that the zeds spawn this fast...so people are within their rights to complain
Disgraced 1123 Posted June 17, 2012 This mod is about dropping preconceived notions. These people will laugh at you for expecting game balancing, but yeah... Once people are 'on top,' so to speak, they cling to their gear like a WoW fanatic in top level PvP shit. You know, people have been saying, 'It's alpha' for so long, but I don't think people really HEAR WHAT THAT MEANS.If you dislike something in the new patch, dispassionately explain, so that rocket can have some fucking feedback.Don't editorialize. Nobody wants to hear your editorializing that people will leave the game... You know, if someone leaves at this point? GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE. The game is in development. In my opinion, it would be better off CLOSED with about 150-200 people who understand what it is, not a bunch of people who want a free AAA release title and act like it at every goddamned turn. You WILL DIE. You WILL RESTART with nothing. I love my bits of stuff, too. I do. But these days, when I die, I realize one of several things:1. I died legitimately. I fucked up. I deserve to die.2. Another player got the drop on me. Very similar to #1.3. I died from a bug. Has it been explicated in the forums? Then I move on.4. I died from a change in a new patch. Has it been explicated? Then I move on.Otherwise, make sure the feedback is constructive, not repetitive and have a good time. What's so fucking difficult? This is not a released, major studio game. the feedback needed is what seems to be working and not working, not your assessment of the future business model, or your ignorant foggy headed number crunching about how many players will leave./rant

LIMITID 28 Posted June 17, 2012 I honestly don't think alot of people understand what a mod is net alone alpha. I guess most games in alpha are not open to the general public due to being buggy messes. I find it funny when people rage about bugs or [insert issue here] or even when something in-game gets changed (like the present issues people are complaining about). People seem to expect a polished and complete experiance in alpha in a free mod, rather then a work in progress where something maybe added then later removed if it is deemed to not function as intended or whatever. It's even funnier when they come here to proclaim to the world that they quit the game because of [insert reason here] as if they are on the WOW forums and paying the developers to play the game. Leftnut FoE 0 Posted June 17, 2012 Don't worry us loot gluttons have enough gear that I could die 20 times and still have gear left over to fill me up to max load on a new character. The patch just forces us to treat zombies as actual threats now, when we always setup perimeters around loot points against players we are now doing this to take out the zombies as well instead of just ignoring them. Threenuc 0 Posted June 17, 2012 Yup, the moment I managed to sneak into a building and loot at least that pepsi can was damn rewarding (that's before I got attacked by a zombie through a wall). If it's made so zombies don't spawn in small interiors I will be able to live with it.
