Stuck at "Waiting for character to create"

So I've been stuck at this shizzle since patch 1.6 that was released a few weeks ago. and its still stuck after 1.7.1, any ideas?

Might need the beta for arma II, 93965 or something like that. Ive had it before, and I think it is due to arma beta patches. I usually just disco and find a different server. Alternatively you could try to delete all @DayZ files and the folder from your computer, and redownload a fresh batch from the sixupdater.
