message boards - quest notes

In some cities or at some special places (castle?) there should be some kind of message board which survivors could use to pin pictures (have you seen my son etc) and messages.

Together with the writable notes this should making quests much easier.

Maybe you should not be able to read all the notes (so it doesn't get too cluttered), so there could be two kinds of notes

1) quest specific - unless its a quest start it is only visible when you accepted that quest. a quest start note should be visible as such and the quest creator should be able to have control over if the quest start note stays after being read and accepted (eg "once per day" or "once" or "three times")

2) general notes

You should be able to keep notes on your body, too, or in special homemade message boxes which you can place in hiding spots

Great idea, it would add so apocalypse stories to the mix, I'd have a few tales.

Me like, how it would affect game resources and individual server performance I don't know, there will always be those who abuse it by covering everything with post it note like messages!

I like it, give the player more things to do with the environment.

Also add chalk, so that a survivor can mark places (or draw penises all over the place).

But for the player to be able to pin pictures anywhere he first has to get a picture making device, also known as camera.

I the best option would be a Polaroid® camera, because it poops out a finished picture, and i don't think a "normal" camera would be very handy, just because of the fact that you need to process the picture first an chemicals an stuff (I quite frankly have not the slightest idea how this works xD )

I'm ok with this as long as all the quests are player defined, each component.
