Just bought a Private server and have no idea why my settings arnt implemented

Hi there

First off i would like to say i have little to no knowledge about server side configuration

I have followed the instructions about editing the server via the config options.

Everytime i start the server back up no changes have been made

Im using the bliss private hive thing

Does anyone know what might be causing changes to not be implemented?
