Really odd bug.

Recommended Posts

So i got dayz yesterday and started playing it. I used arma 2 free with OA to get it so i saved a bit of money. I noticed this bug when i was attacked and started bleeding. I tried to use a bandage but the green box that pops up when you right click it, goes behind the gear menu. I have all the latest updates and everything. I play on 1280x800 res with the 3d res on that too. I really am confused lol :)

Heres a screenshot so you know what i mean

I've tried that and it didnt change anything, i don't have a clue what it could be. is it because i used arma 2 free?

only thing i could suggest is reinstall arma though who really wants to resort to that realisticly i think only the devs or somone who has fixed this issue already ( yours is the first i have heard of) to help you

Have this when i open Steam Ingame Overlay menu. doing it again and things are back to normal. If you don't use steam to connect, maybe you should try strg+alt+tab once and switch back to game after that.

Other folks have that problem too, including me. No response as yet. Here are a couple of other threads:

So far no permanent solutions, but at least know you're not alone. There's a workaround where you drag the gear menu to the side, but obviously it's not ideal.
