Derpy_Hooves (DayZ) 4521 Posted December 11, 2012 Hey forum!! i hope someone can help me on my mission.Last night myself and the server owner attempted to create my own custom bus and add it in game, on his private test server it spawned in great, no problems and looks awesome, but after selecting a spawn location on our Private hive we noticed it was spawning without the custom skin we added.Is there any way in witch i can resolve this issue....Any posts that help will receive beans and Muffins!!! rossums 2190 Posted December 11, 2012 Silly question, but does the hive server accept custom skins?Most by default are set to reject any skins that aren't default, I'm pretty sure - meant to reduce possible attack vectors or something to that effect. Database, all that stuff?Don't take me on the word, I'm no professional guy. I did skinning for Counter-Strike: Source and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, but never tried for DayZ. Derpy_Hooves (DayZ) 4521 Posted December 11, 2012 The info is downloaded in the mission file when you log into the server, i have seen a couple clans with custom skin vehicles on their own servers.Yes Morgan we even double checked that but Zabn copied what he made directly to the server.... I have one buddy that might have some ideas of this, he's been doing DayZ projects before (Making one huge map consisting of the current 9 maps, note that the current 9 was the 9 oldest ones.)He lives 9 hours behind me, but he MIGHT know what's the case here.
