No sound - Missing cfgmagazines?

Afternoon gents, i recently started to get this error 'bin\config.bin/cfgMagazines.2rnd_shotgun_74pellets' (screen shot below) . Ive restarted steam, run it in admin, and repaired it trying to fix this. Im currently operating on a 64bit system (unsure if this helps), and sitting on beta patch 701. I updated to the latest and still had the problem, was wondering if there was any help available.

same problem. I searched high and low, no useful advice available on this. Im just not going to use the beta for now.

Same problem. Also, I can get into servers but my weapon is holstered and I can't see the debug monitor along with the sound issue.

the error randomly appeared, and now i can't joint any server, it just sayss loading and it keeps on forever.. any fixes?
