playing dayz with operation arrowhead ?

have a question about playin dayz

so can i play dayz with just operation arrowhead not arma2 co on steam

i know i can play wihout steam just like that but i want play on steam and is it possible or not ?

(on steam theres not arma2 demo or free version)

You need the full Combined ops to play Dayz at the basic level. Get the PMC pack to increase detail on the clothing.

Since the last patch, you just run Arrowhead to load into combined ops. It should automatically find arma2. To double check you should be seeing a desert screen on the main menu and have 2 Icons in the bottom left. One for ARMA one for ARMA:OA. With the dayz mod loaded you should not be seeing Singleplayer mode either and it will tell you on the right side what you have loaded.

Not sure if that is what you're after.

thank you, arma 2 free or demo not avaible on steam and its problem for me

and i dont know only operation arrowhead can activate
