tw34k3d 0 Posted December 7, 2012 Hi fellas,I host my own server and since the latest dayz patch whenever I restart the server the time reverts back to 12:30, I should point out that the time used to be bound to the servers windows time, this is no longer the case, I have tried checking the HiveExt.ini and the relevant settings are as below:[Time];Possible values: Local, Custom, Static; You cannot use Static on OFFICIAL Hive, it will just revert to LocalType = Local; If using Custom type, offset from UTC in hours (can be negative as well);Offset = 0;If using Static type (Hour value always the same on every server start), the value (0-24) to set the Hour to;Hour = 8that all looks correct to me, but even if I change it to Custom set an offset (and uncomment it) it makes no difference, I just can't find a way to modify the time any more, I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't keep rolling back to 12:30 after every restart...Any suggestions?Cheers. rajkosto 1 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) You may have an invalid object in the database, so server intiialization didn't finish. This object should be manually removed by a DBA so your server can properly init.Check for "error in expression" problems in your RPT before trying to troubleshoot .ini problems please ! xxblink 66 Posted December 8, 2012 We had the same problem until I switched around beta versions. Try that....
tw34k3d 0 Posted December 9, 2012 Thank you both for your replies, I couldn't find any instances of "error in expression" in the RPT but for some reason changing the beta patch did work, I then tried updating to the latest again and it still works, weird...Thanks again.
