Clan looking to expand to DayZ (Need to fill leadership positions)

Hello and welcome to the thread. I will do my best to keep this short, simple, and to the point.

The Imperial Legion (currently pending name change) has had a decent group of players on DayZ who are very good at survivng. Our longest camp site went on over 30 days (until the tent bug where all tents were wiped upon server restart) and was never raided. We know how to play, and we tend to do so very well.

Now, with that in mind; we are looking for people to fill our ranks and to possibly take over the division (games we sponsor are called "divisions" for organizational purposes) and running it. Note: Running one of our divisions takes a lot of time. We keep rosters etc. (all of which you will be briefed about before being given any type of position of responsibility) to assist in matters as a whole.

Why is noone who is already in IL being selected? Most of us simply do not have the time to put forth the effort to effeciently run it or are in charge of another division and as such are forced (not actually forced but you get the idea) to focus on that division.

Now the requirements:

1. You must be able to dedicate a decent amount of hours to DayZ within IL.

2. You must be on Ventrilo while playing (this allows us to keep our members informed and pull them should they be needed for something [or if the camp is being raided]).

3. You must be able to put your emotions aside and make sound decisions based on the information provided (I've had to ban friends from real life due to certain breaches [AKA hacking/exploiting]).

4. It will be your responsibility to instill faith and keep up morale within your division (you will have a team to help you, a division is run by a group of people that you may find in our rank structure here) in order to retain members.

5. You must have a working microphone.

6. You must be at least 18 years old and act accordingly.

7. Must be at least slightly creative in order to create events for your division members to participate in (though you may take ideas/suggestions from other members).

We would like to have at least two companies within the DZ (DayZ) division. One for our survivors/hero type players and one for bandits.

You never know, you could possibly have them setup separate camps and fight a war on a server (TBD - we are debating purchasing our own server ATM).

You don't. If you read it, it merely states that if you intentionally damage something (say you delete an entire ventrilo setup or manage to change/destroy our website) you are going to be held responsible. We do not charge people to join us.

I'd have a lot more money if we did haha.

O.K. - someone asked what we had planned for the future and I'll give a description below.

(I will give a broken down version below this for those who lack the ability to control their attention span or are in a rush)

In this apocalypse we all miss the feeling of civilization. We miss the solid structures keeping us warm and dry. We miss being able to have others to depend upon. We miss...a lot. It's a cruel world out there in the woods and the larger cities. People are constantly living in terror. We plan to ease this suffering.

How? We will be taking over a city. The city will then have guards and overwatch as required. Maintaining this during low hours will be difficult, but not impossible. Will we store our supplies in the city? No. The city is never truly safe, however; providing people with that temporary happiness from the feeling of what once was will be gratifying on it's own.

As noted above, we will have guards in place. We will run a "no fire" zone within our city limits. Should a zombie spawn, our guards will drop him for you. You will be allowed to stay as long as you would like so long as you are "friendly" or temporarily "friendly" (lol). Those who enter have the possibility of being disarmed.

Now, we also know that being the friendly type is not for everyone, so in that regard; we must remind them that we do have a "bandit group" who will also be running one of the towns. Managing one town (or city should we feel it possible) is a feat on its own, but we feel like being different.

This second group (bandit group) will be slightly different. I am not a bandit, so I will not be assisting in their RoE. I will merely make suggestions. They could do anything from letting you pass, demanding you pay a toll, or they could just pop you from 1000 meters out. It will be up to them.

This could be a potential recruiting opportunity on its own. We will more than likely prep for a "war" between the two groups just to see who has the better shots.

TL:DR - Take over a town, provide a safe haven.

Second group will be a bandit style group that will "own" a town and have their own RoE.

That's great to hear. I am currently imprisoned at a work facility until 5 P.M. eastern at which point I will be released to return to civilian life.

(We do have members who play WarZ as well).

UPDATE

The Imperial Legion is looking for members who do not mind playing in a small(ish) group at the moment.

We need people who are willing to be on Ventrilo and be active. We've had tons of applications, but few of those people manage to remain active on the game let alone Ventrilo.

Some of our leadership positions are still open for applications.

Joing our clan is 100% FREE. The "$50" comment is an agreement you sign off on just stating you will be held responsible if you are given administrative powers (if you're in one of those leadership roles) and you abuse it by damaging or destroying our Ventrilo/website/server etc.

Those of us who play are long time veterans of DayZ that have been around since the month of "the outbreak". We've been gathering members to help rebuild society since that fateful day.

If you guys have a couple of players you could spare, try out our server and take on the SAS guys, were having it so each large group can have their own special OA skin so no big group looks alike.
