Server Lag?

I've been onto a couple of servers, and one of the servers I was on had like this lag, except it wasn't latency lag, more like... control lag. My reaction time in game was slower and I couldn't turn around without it being choppy. I was wondering if this wass related to my location to the server (that was a suggestion from someone in game) or if it was something else.

Look at that, and follow everything on their, I promise you will have better fps.

But it wasn't an "every server" thing. Just US99 (The RT Server, as I was told). On the other servers it was smooth as ex-lax. Would this guide still apply?

If it was just that server, it was most likely bad ping at the time. But even doing this guide, and you have good fps on other servers. This guide would help your computer run Dayz Mod a lot smoother.
