Arma2 stops responding when in lobby.

Recommended Posts

Hello forums, I've recently come across an issue with launching the game. I'm not that tech savvy and I hope this can get resolved.

I recently had some problems with my laptop, where I got BSOD with a memory dump. I got it cleared up, or so it seemed at the time, but now when I try to launch DayZ using DayZ commander, it will bring me to the lobby, which appears to be empty at the time, and then crash. It says that Arma2 stopped responding and I'm forced to close it out. Upon looking through the forums I found that you can look at your event viewer and find the issue there. Here's what I got...

Faulting application name: arma2oa.exe, version: 1.62.99.153, time stamp: 0x50a65807

Faulting module name: arma2oa.exe, version: 1.62.99.153, time stamp: 0x50a65807

Exception code: 0xc0000005

Faulting process id: 0x428

Faulting application start time: 0x01cdd0aa42fa542e

Report Id: a2b255f4-3c9d-11e2-ae22-d179922b60f5

If this means anything to anyone and they can help me, please do so. Thanks for your help ahead of time.
