Great new(maybe new?) map idea

I was thinking that it would be cool if there was an east or west coast (USA) map for day z. Lots of places for loot and wouldn't it be fun to snipe a player or zombie from the space needle or the empire state building? Also there'd be more cars and I think I'd be cool just to tour the white house of the united states of zombies. Since I dont know the first place to start in map making I'm in the hole, so what do you think? Anyone want to try? Or rally some some support to get someone to make one?

From what I know Washington is smaller than chernarus and for those worried about lag we could have only key buildings enterable and then have some blocked buildings and lastly go walking dead on it and make it look like the army napalmed and bombed the crap out of it

what about a different country instead of USA just because alot of games are set in america and maybe other people might want something else for a change like say Australia.

Have you seen any game set in Australia probably not and maybe even Japan that would be cool and it will be like high school of dead ( zombie apocalypse anime show ) good show too so yeah a change for once. :)

An OZ themed area would be cool to explore, as long as the map has a decent bit of rural banter.

I don't know why people keep suggesting city maps. The first thing I'd do in a zombie apocalypse is get the hell away from any densely populated areas.

I like the chernarus map but I think it would be cool to wander through a ruined metropolis with skyscrapers and highways. Come to think of it sydney would be cool to see. I was also thinking a Washington map because beside take on helicopters no one has really done a Seattle/Washington map I may be a little biased as I live in washington. Climbing mt Rainer and skiing would be cool features as we have the beautiful cascade range which would make a great spot for bases and driving/fighting

The aspect of "densely populated" isn't justified with a city as small as cherno.. the smallest town in my county has 800+ homes/buildings/structures.

I wouldn't even class Cherno or Elektro as cities. They're just big towns in my book. Mind you, I have no idea what factor makes that distinction in Chernarus, since it's fictional.

I just had to look up "poms" on google.

Reckon I'm too far north to come under that class, but I suppose that's up to you fellas.

A Scottish island themed map would be good craic. Maybe something like Skye. Where Portree is the biggest settlement.

Too many things set in America. Imo i would like to see small villages and towns in the English countryside. The closest thing to that is Carraigdubh, whats an Arma 2 map set in Ireland
