Good Starting Server for a Pair?

My friend and I both started playing DayZ. The first problem we ran into is other players having better guns and vehicles than us. What are some good starting servers or maybe some tips for two new teammates?

You don't say where you are from, but if you are UK/Europe try StormerClan.com Bliss Private Hive (search for Stormer in Dayz Commander), this is a good server to start and learn the basics, it doesn't get mega busy, but there are about a dozen regulars on there that are friendly and will help newcomers, there are extra vehicles on there too so you should have a good chance to learn to drive/fly etc.

Good point Omaran makes. Once we know which country/side of the planet you're on we can make suggestions. But generally I'd say fine one with only a few people on and keep your head down until you are a little more experienced.

I suggest you check out the private hives forum as there are lots of them listed in there and they all want you play one their servers, including one I'm an admin on. So I won't mention any names, as I want to be fair to all. :thumbsup:

I'm gonna put it out there and hazard a guess that you're Australian (no offence if you're a Kiwi). If so there's a few good Aussie servers you can find in the private hive section of the forum.

If not then let us know where you're from and we'll try and recommend you somewhere.
