Hello, I am wondering everytime a person talk in side-chat. There's a number next to there name for example... 1-1-F-3

What's that and how can I use it for my advantage?

It's just something left over from ArmA 2. In ArmA 2 there are a number of Squads, where as is DayZ everyone is either all in the same 'sqaud' or each person is in a one man 'squad'. So in DayZ the really mean nothing.
