Beta Patch + Six Updater

I can't seem to join servers with the Beta patch. It says my version is 1.60 and the server version is 1.60.9etc.

I have a preset created with DayZ and the beta box checked, so it contains both DayZ and the beta patch. When I launch that preset and check expansions BETA is listed.

Anyone else having issues or know how to work this out?

ive got the same problem, ive updated using the six updater, manual update using both mirrors but its still not giving me 1.7 when i start up.

I have this exact problem! Someone please help!

I have the steam version of Arma2 and Arma OA.

I have tried installing the mod and the beta so many times with so many different methods(incl, six updater) but NOTHING IS WORKING! I have been trying for three days. I need to install the latest beta for arma2 OA in order to join my local server but each time i try join it just says 'connecting failed'. I have followed so many tutorials TO THE LETTER and it installs fine and i can join the servers that are not running the beta.

In the menu of arma2 OA in the bottom right it says that i am running v1.60.93825 which is the correct version that i need BUT when i enter the server browser it says my version: 1.60 Needed version: 1.60.93825

I am desperate now. Please help. Like i said i can join the servers that say version: 1.60

From that one above you can see the version number in the bottom right corner and on the top right im sure that i have the right text there.

And from that screenshot above you can see my problem. I have put a rectangle around the version numbers.

I dont know what to do i have reinstalled arma2 and arma2 OA about five times to try and start fresh. I have the games backed up from steam. Each time i tried a different method of installing but none of them worked. I did run the games once before i tried to install the mod and beta. I ran EVERYTHING in administrator mode. I tried running the game from each of the different exe's and .bat files but i get the same problem.

Please help i really want to play with my friends.
