I just downloaded DAYZ and started to play, 20 minutes into the game I found a MP5 and a silenced m9. Then, 10 seconds later, everyone in the server spawned into the middle of the ocean. So I was wondering if there was anyway that me and the other people could be spawned back to where we were?

Leave your character ingame, alt+ tab out and watch a film or something and you'll eventually die of hypothermia.

join another server like a private hive so no hackers will do that

yeah cos private hives guarantee no hackers. I thought there was some way to post your guid or what ever and have a mod dev kill your character?

What is the point of dying of hypothermia? Wouldn`t it be easier to just make a new character?

You can't create a new character unless you have broken bones or you die IIRC. Thus hypothermia would be the only way to die at sea.

? I create new characters all the time. All I do is go into ARMA, delete my dead character and make a new one.
