Were helicopter crashes removed in 1.7.4.4?

I was playing yesterday after not playing for a week and couldnt find one, then saw this.

Were they removed?

I don't usually check change-logs so I don't know what it means exactly.

Edit:: I should also say I didnt look very long, maybe for about half an hour, but I usually find a few after a bit of searching. Maybe I had just been lucky until then.

As usual, nothing but trash loot and an empty gun.

I found 3 since the patch came out. So i'm guessing that they are still in.
