Incorrect, some skip that part. But I've found most of the official servers don't.

Thanks :) I found out that servers that are "official" will allow you to choose your Gender. You have to look for no cloud to the left of server name. I have a server and don't know how to do this on that server. :huh:

Oh good question, yes the server allows you to pick the gender at the beginning of your new life
