How to make a DayZ Server Private?

Hi! I just hosted a whitelisted server from www.gamed.de . It took 2 days before I got any answers on information for my login to enter the server control panel. When I bought this server, I chose whitelisted server with 10 slots. But, when I try start it, it says you must have at least 40 slots to start a server. So I mailed them about this, but they are so slow with answering. Then I found a live support chat at their page, so I tried that. They only told me I had to make it private, but they didn't tell me how to do that. So, my question is. Are there someone who have hosted from gamed.de, or at least know how to fix this problem, contact me at steam: ipixels, or just reply to this thread. Thank all for helping, or at least try. If I didn't give enough information, reply, and I will try do my best to make this more clear.

There is plenty of information about private hives if you Google it, but to be honest I would just get your GSP to sort it, they should never have sold you a 10 slot public hive server in the first place!!

I didn't say I bought a public hive server. Or I don't know. I bought a Whitelisted server, and they told me to do it private, not Private Hive, or maybe I'm wrong of what he meant.

Oh, ok. But is it possible to make it private, so I can have the server as it is with the 10 slots, without that I must purchase a new one. And is Private Hive Private?
