Jekobus 1 Posted June 17, 2012 So I just started DayZ today and played for about an hour. I'm absolutely loving it so far, but I have a few questions.Is there a way to change your character skin? I've seen videos on youtube of people in ghillie suits and people with different skin colors. I'd love to get a ghillie suit lol.Second question is related to the first. I thought I read/heard somewhere(probably on youtube) that downloading the two DLC packs add either better graphics or more skin options, but I can't exactly remember. So do the two DLC packs add anything to the DayZ experience or just Arma2?Last question, is there a way to change my username when I enter games? I play through Steam if that helps. It seems to enter me into games using my first name, and I'd like to change it to something else.Thanks in advance for any and all help! trnapster 1 Posted June 17, 2012 You can find Camo/Ghillie Suits in Residental Areas but their spawnchance is pretty low.Be sure you have the latest beta patch installed. If you have not and put on another skin you will spawn in the ocean the next time you connect to a server.The standardskin uses the skins from the dlc Private Military Company. Its should say 1.60.93701 or 1.60.93825Change name: Main menu > Player profile > EditI think the former bandit skin was taken from British Armed Forces. But since Rocket removed them I dont think you need it.I would suggest you to buy both of them. They are pretty cheap and have some cool gear and missions included.
