AI bandit and AI Remnants/Survivor forts, currency, AI bodyguards, and more ideas

Recommended Posts

ok i dont know this ideas suggested before but lets start

first thing:AI FORTS

AI Forts are protected camps where you seek safeplace to hide

you can upgrade forts by completing missions but first:Factions;

Remnants:

The military Servicemen and civilians who survived zombie apocalypse managed captured/builded base

and helps and tasks other survivors

Bandits:

Thugs, Criminals, and survivor who managed to capture/build a base

Kills Survivors for their supplies also give jobs to other bandits

TASKS:

Some of them easy, some of them hard, some of them needs teamwork but you will be rewarded good

and your base will upgraded (like if you tasked to find barb wire

the base will barb wired the base with more defence against zombies

but if you fail their Trust will lower to you

if their trust low enough you cant enter their base

CURRENCY:

Beans, cola i dunno maybe bottlecaps or bullets?

AI BODYGUARDS:

tired of getting pwned?

you are rich but you fear death?

hire boyguards!

if you are want to hire defensive bodyguard hire soldiers:

They are loyal to you

they defend you effective

you need to take care their basic needs(bullets beans water (they fill their own if you are near pond or well) band aid etc.)

if you are down they will heal you

but;

you cant kill innocent

if you kill innocent often they may run away or kill you

Raiders:

they are offensive,looter

they kill furiously

they are traitor

if you dont give them loot enough

they might kill you

they might take your abonden you if your down

and trade:

any ideas?

hi,

I don't think it is possible any more to have NPCs but zeds in the SA. To make it simple they are removing all the complexes AI calculations like spotting, flanking, fleeing, driving/flying, commanding, etc... to allocate performances elsewhere like more zombies, more objects, more enterable buildings, better view distance, lowest system requirement, better MP performance etc... Dev team made this decision to not have NPCs but zombies and IMHO it is the right way to go.

This is a quote from dayzdev blog:

DayZ does not require the complex array of player and AI interactions that ArmA does, so these are all gone. What we are left with is a very heavily optimized solution where the server “call’s the shots” so to speak.

Nope, plus have you seen the vanilla Arma 2 AI? I would not trust something that thick "protecting" me. I say no to any AI and currency is what you make it.
