Good PC From £150-£400 for games?

Recommended Posts

Try DinoPC, this might be what youre looking for: http://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/-b-NEW-b-Fabro-i5-3470-93p1572.htm

I run a -highly- modified version of this great results, obviously stuff like monitor, keyboard, will need to be boguht, but thats a very solid machine. I can play day z at ultra, and record at a steady 50fps and MC with 128x texture pack with mods at 300ish fps. Source games tend to sit around 120 on my rig.

Hope this helps,

sneeky

btw, heres a complete review of my own rig

Teach yourself computer-basics. You'll always benefit. This question has been asked, I believe a dozen-times since Sunday. :o Six of the topics are yours   :P

Not bad but the GT 610 is nothing but a rebranded GT 520..which has a fraction of performance my GT 240.

A GTX 650 would be would an "affordable" card. I could configure a system that I'd recommend, for under 500 pound. But current (you post from your own PC?) system components 'could be' the foundation for your 'gaming build'.

If you own a copy of Windows 7, perhaps an upgrade-copy to Windows 8, on the cheap?

If you can get 8 gig sticks of ram, please don't overkill with 2 or 4gig sticks. Nab one 4gig (if the $$ for 1 8gig is too much, takes away from elsewhere needed) until you can afford a few (triple channel for intel?)
