Statik (DayZ) 2695 Posted December 1, 2012 apparently they have nerfed the DMR so that it only does 6k blood per hit now. Its not that overpowered to be honest. They should be focusing on the AS50 instead. Also what about the M24? that is much easier to use than a DMR yet nothing has changed for that. I don't know, its just frustrating that I will have to find another gun to provide overwatch with.Like people said, it's still a two hit kill. If you hit them in the head, still a one hit. Plus, one shot will most likely knock them out. Also, they did "nerf" the AS50 (and M107) in a way, it's spawn rate is now 0.01% (I believe the M107 is 0.02%). And the DMR was better than the M24, because the DMR is semi-auto, whilst the M24 is bolt action oriented. And the icing on the cake was the DMR is compatible with NV Goggles, where no other sniper is the game is. I have seen nothing in the changelogs, or anywhere for that matter that the DMR is being nerfed. Even if it is I'm not all that concerned, because 6k blood is still a whack of damage, and I always put 2-3 bullets in my targets anyways, so it's not really going to affect anything.
