Dayz Female!!!

seriously... the problem still isnt fixed that i cant get a window where i choose male or female.. i always spawn without a notification as male.

in the patch notes it says its fixed but it isnt.. why do they lie in the patch notes? i want to pla as female again but i cant..

if i die and then go in a server again still no notification window appears in any server.

how can i fix that? i even reinstalled dayz.

theres always stuff in the patch notes that isn't fixed allthough it says it is

guess they don't test the stuff properly or not at all

for example, ammo refills itself after every relog though it says it is fixed in the patchnotes

also, you can stil dupe stuff, though the patch note state its impossible

Have you tried creating a new character profile form the ARMA II menu? I noticed that when I created a new one, the gender select box appeared even though I had an existing character ingame.

Are you playing on private hives? If so it's possible your private hive is the reason. For example Vilayer servers are all male only.

hmm maybe it can be that im gonna try a non hive server now.

I recognized that it depends on the server. For instance on DE995 (a Celle Server / private hive) you get the male / female box. On the Vilayer, as said before, there is male only without the chance to select. Just try different servers.

Iv never had this problem but i know that today after a blew myself up with a grenade. on creating a new person i remember the gender select screen just because its the 1st time i seen it since the patch and it has change. its not just 2 boxes with male/female but a model of a male/female

Hang on, it's not available at the moment, is it? I've been playing as a male character since the female option disappeared - bloody annoying but if it's part of the dayz mod then it won't be fixed until the next version comes out or if it's part of the beta patch, possibly sooner. (I do still have some female characters on some hives but I assumed that was because they were older, not created with new version)

since i play on private i have noticed that, but i've seen someone connecting to the public and he had the possibility to choose female(and he did it successfully)

It is currently and has been available. It's just certain private hives have it disabled.

Why would you want female skin anyways? Males have such an unfair advantage by being able to wear different clothing.
