Werid lagg. Only in DayZ server!?

Recommended Posts

Hello members and moderators who are reading this,

I don't know why , but if I play a DayZ mission, It will lagg like hell after 5 minutes or even less. And btw you did a great job on the mod is amazing, but I get annoying Laggs. I don't know where its coming from, because in singleplayer I can play maxed out graphics w/o laggs, and on dayz even with lowest possible graphics, I still get laggs..

Does anybody got a solution? Many thanks if you have, I want to play this amazing mod w/o any annoying laggs :D

I get the same thing. After 5-8min the game runs at about 10fps, unplayable. Until then it runs great on low graphics or pretty good on high. Though my GPU does overheat and I have to have an external fan and cooling pad blowing on the laptop. (with the fan I can keep it under control, around 75 degrees C) Anyway, any ideas on how to fix would be great.

PeterK, this issue has already been addressed/fixed in the pending hotfix:

* [FIXED] Poor performance caused by infected search behavior (MAJOR performance increase during closed testing)

Performance drop shortly after playing is directly caused by some of the infected searching behavior. This has been addressed.
