Tighthead 0 Posted November 27, 2012 I have installed Arma II and Arma II OA, I installed Arma II through Amazon and I installed OA through Steam. I followed the instructions and ran both of them (I ran Arma II first) and then I installed the DayZ commander. I updated Arma II and DayZ to the latest version (Through the DayZ Commander) and I downloaded the most recent beta patch for OA. I enabled @DayZ and DayZ in the Expansions section on the Main Menu of OA. Whenever I attempt to log into a server through the DayZ commander, a message appears saying: 'dayz_anim requires addon CAMisc_fix'. Then, once the game loads, another message pops up saying that the server will not accept certain files, and then it lists many .pbo files that are found in the Addons folder of Arma II. I have tried removing these files and it does not fix the problem. The servers that I have attempted to join are up to date. I have also tried using PlayWithSix instead of the DayZ commander but this does not work either. Please Help!!!
rooneye 135 Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) Are both games installed in the same folder? I think you might need to do that. Seeing as you bought them from different places, they probably arent already.Copy your ArmA 2 stuff to your Arma 2OA folder. Tighthead 0 Posted November 27, 2012 No, they aren't installed in the same folder, Arma II is under Program Files/Bohemia Interactive/Arma 2, and OA is under Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. Do you mean take everything out of the Arma II folder and paste it into the OA folder? Or do you mean move the Arma II folder into the same place as OA (which is under steamapps/common)? rooneye 135 Posted December 1, 2012 (edited) Ahh sorry, didnt see this. Hmmm tbh I'm not too sure about that. First try putting the ArmA 2 folder in common in the same place as OA. Then make sure to start ArmA 2 up first from that location. After you have ran ArmA 2 once, then try DayZ again. If that doesnt work then I think you will have to copy all the files inside ArmA 2 and paste them into OA. I do think it is the second one, but try the first just to make sure.EDIT: If you really dont want to copy the files over, you could try this:http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/53723-no-more-copying-to-your-oa-folder/ Edited December 1, 2012 by Rooneye
