This will work prefect with Dayz as long as you have boot camp in and installed. but makesure you make your stage about 50GB +

i may sound stupid but could you explain more? Its my first computor that will involve 'gaming' so, im quite uneducated at these things...

Yeah, I think that will run the game fine. As said above you'd get much better performance for your money with a desktop though and Apples really aren't great for gaming.

Also, ArmA is a Windows exclusive so you'll need to use something like Bootcamp to play.
