4L4N 276 Posted November 26, 2012 Taken from here - http://dayzmod.com/f...st/#entry967838Sorry about the copy pasta. But it's alot to type out everytime. My Advice in this post http://dayzmod.com/f...ced-fps-tweaks/Along with these settings that I use - Having all those settings on normal is bad btw.Texture Detail - Very High ( High for you )Video Memory - DefaultAnisotropic Filtering - Very High ( High for you )Antialiasing - Low - ( None for you )ATOC - DisabledTerrain Detail - Very lowObject Detail - Very lowShadow Detail - Very High ( High for you )HDR Quality - Very High ( Normal for you )PPAA - DisabledPost Process effects - DisabledInterface size - optionalAspect ratio - optionalVsync - Disabled ( Vsync enabled will limit your FPS to your monitors refresh rate, which is usually 60hz on bog standard LCD's )Bare in mind , 30-60 fps is about right for DayZ. In Arma2 single player those same settings would result in an extra 30+ fps but DayZ does ALOT of extra CPU task intensive work on the client. The server can also have an effect on your own fps and everyone elses on there.

nick995 2 Posted January 16, 2013 So here is an update. I have- increased ram to 8gb- gone from my 160gb hard drive to 1tb 72000 rpm and reinstalled windows- reapplied cpu paste and noticed only one clamp was applying pressure on cpu, maybe thats why I max getting max load temps of 80c- added system fan to caseAll of the above was done at the same time, so not sure what did it but now I'm getting 30-40 fps on North airfield on a server of about 25 players. Haven't tried any other servers yet
